All India Agarbathi Manufacturers’ Association (AIAMA), originally founded as Mysore Oodabathi Manufacturers’ Association (MOMA) was established in the year 1949 for redressal of the grievance of the agarbathi manufacturers as well as to engage in development activities.
MOMA was transformed into All India Agarbathi Manufacturers’ Association during the year 1980 to reflect its growing national character. With the members spread from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and the problems of the industry crossing the State and National borders, it had to perforce approach the Union Government also for the redressal of its grievances. AIAMA has since grown in strength and the present membership spread all over India is around 600.
